Woven in Japan, this style of fabric is known as sashi-ori — often used in kendo and judo uniforms for its tough yet breathable characteristics. The cloth’s heavy texture is created using a dobby loom to replicate the classic Japanese sashiko stitching technique, reinforcing both the fabric’s strength and aesthetic allure.
